

Veteran New Jersey Assemblyman Reed Gusciora and Liz Muoio easily defeated challenger Dan Toto in the 15th District Assembly primary race on Tuesday.
Gusciora and Muoio won almost four times the votes as Toto. Gusciora was the top vote getter with 4,542 votes. Muoio received 4,302 votes, and Toto received only 1,236 votes.
Gusciora has served the district since 2011. He moved to Trenton after districts were redone by the state. Previously he served as an assemblyman while living in Princeton. He First became an assemblyman in 1996.
Muoio was selected by the Democratic machine to fill U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman’s vacancy after Watson Coleman was elected to Congress.
