Lucky’s Lunchbox serves up burgers and more on East Front Street

Lucky’s Lunchbox is the latest addition to the dining scene in downtown Trenton.

The eatery serves up hand-crafted burgers, hot dogs, wings, mini corn dogs, disco fries, tater tots, breakfast sandwiches, and more. View the full menu online.

Specialty burgers, which start at $10.95, include waffle burgers, pizza burgers, Hawaiian burgers, BBQ burgers, garbage burgers, and even a burger with pork roll. You can also build your own burger.

The original Lucky’s is located in Clark. It quickly gained popularity for its carnival-style offerings like onion straws and fried pickles, as well as its creamy milkshakes. “The food here is fun. When people try us, they come back,” said Tom Battle, manager of the Trenton Lucky’s.

“When you come to Lucky’s, you are getting things you don’t always get at other places, as well as salads, breakfast sandwiches, and chicken sandwiches,” Battle said. “A lot of people come in just for the salads, while others like to choose from dozens of different toppings for their burgers and hot dogs.”

Lucky’s co-owners Damian Walsh and Kelly Holman, who also co-own the Tattoo Asylum II in Lawrence, felt Trenton was a good location for their second restaurant. “They asked me to run the restaurant because I not only know this business, but I also know this community well, and that was important to them,” Battle said.

Located at 13 East Front Street, Lucky’s is open from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday Through Friday. Lucky’s delivers via GrubHub, Uber Eats and DoorDash. .
