Mayor Jackson Appoints Wife to Library Board, Watson to Parking Authority

Trenton Mayor Eric Jackson has appointed his wife, Deniece Johnson Jackson, to the Trenton Public Library Board and William Watson to the Trenton Parking Authority board.

Watson is the brother of Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman. He previously served as the parking authority chairman and served as former mayor Doug Palmer’s chief of staff.He fills a board vacancy on the Trenton Parking Authority left by Joyce Kersey, whose term expires on June 30 of 2016.

Johnson Jackson fills a Trenton Public Library board vacancy left by the late Judge Virginia Dietrich, who passed away last year. Her term expires on June 30 of this year.

“These outstanding Trentonians will serve our city with distinction and with the best interests of their city neighbors at heart,” Jackson said in a press release about the appointment of his wife and Watson.
