Millhill Child & Family Development Book Drive Underway

clark the sharkYou can provide summer books to Trenton area kids who will be participating in the Millhill Child & Family Development Center’s summer reading camp, RISE, by purchasing books online or dropping them off at the center.

Purchase books from Scholastic Books online until June 9, or drop off books at Millhill Friday, June 26, at 101 Oakland Street in Trenton. Click here for the suggested book list.

Camp RISE is Millhill’s summer literacy and enrichment program that provides literacy, physical activity, and art camp experience for 40 children from the Trenton area.   Camp RISE  includes daily play, group games, reading, writing and project based activities and at least one hour of unstructured time.

New this year, Millhill will introduce STEM (Science, Technology, and Engineering & Mathematics) to students to help boost language and math and spark curiosity in the world around them. Through a grant from the Junior League of Greater Princeton, Millhill will provide STEM books, materials, and games that will introduce the children to STEM concepts.
