Taste Trenton Restaurant Crawl Today, May 16

bamboogrillToday you can sample foods from a broad range of ethnic restaurants in Trenton you’ve always wanted to try. The Taste Trenton small plate restaurant crawl, a new event sponsored by the Trenton Council of Civic Associations, will take place from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. today, May 16th.

Participating restaurants include Puerto Barrios, La Monja Blanca, La Chapinita, Casa Lupita, Amici Milano, La Parrilla, El Potrillo, Mi Tierra, El Mariachi, Pura Vida, Bamboo Grill, Tierra Maya, and Guate Linda.

Each restaurant will be serving a special menu of appetizer sized specialty plates for $3-$5 each.

If you would like to participate the event, come to the start point at 540 Chestnut Avenue, purchase a wristband for $10, and you will be given a guidebook with a map, menus, and information.The profits from the wristband sales will be donated to a local charity serving the community.

Kids 12 and under can receive a free kid’s wristband with the purchase of an adult wristband. All Police, Fire, EMS and Dept. of Corrections officers receive one free wristband by showing up in uniform at the start point of the event.
