Many of Trenton’s restaurants and eateries have hung in there since the pandemic began more than a year ago, and several new restaurants have opened. You can visit old favorites and check out new places this year at Taste Trenton, a popular restaurant crawl that features some of the most popular eateries in the capital city.
Taste Trenton is back after taking a break last year due to the pandemic. The event will be held June 11 through June 13.
So far, 30 restaurants have signed up to participate. Taste Trenton coordinator Bernard McMullan anticipates that there will be more eateries signing up over the next week. The deadline for restaurant registration is May 24. Restaurants interested in joining Taste Trenton 2021 should contact McMullan at TasteTrenton2021@gmail.com to receive a registration packet. Sample menus from participating restaurants in 2019 can be reviewed at TasteTrenton.com.
“Restaurants are anxious to welcome back patrons this year.” McMullan said. “With the loosening of pandemic restrictions, restaurant owners want to reintroduce themselves to people who love food in Trenton.”
Before you go restaurant hopping, on Saturday, June 12, you can check out the Mill Hill Garden Tour or visit the open house at the Mercer Cemetery across from the Trenton Transit Center.
Wristbands and other information about Taste Trenton 2021 will be posted at TasteTrenton.com. Wristbands go on sale May 24.
